Wednesday December 25th, 2013 - Prayer of the week on Matt 1:1-25

Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord, You sent Your Son to us so we could become a people who live by faith. You sent Your Angel to transform Joseph from a man of law to a man of faith. May Joseph be an example to us as we celebrate Your nativity. May we overcome our fear and be guided by the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Tuesday December 18th, 2013 - Prayer of the week on Luke 14:16-24

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord, we celebrate Your grand banquet each time we attend the Liturgy. You have call us to be with all the faithful who lived before Your Nativity. May we be as faithful as they were by not letting the cares of our lives cause us to make excuses. May we express our Love for You by forgiving others as you have forgiven us. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Tuesday December 3rd, 2013 - Prayer of the week on Luke 18: 18-27

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord you are the good one and we have done nothing good which can atone for our sins. You, as the good teacher and good Shepard revealed to the rich ruler that he turned his riches into idols. We pray that we can be like your apostles who gave up all and followed you. May your goodness be our goodness so we can love our neighbor as ourselves. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
