As a member of St. Luke parish for more than 15 years, I consider my current role as Lay Chairperson both honor and privilege. St. Luke pastorate and parishioners and are a devoted, spirit-led flock. I have found I can best lead my brothers and sisters by serving faithfully. St. Luke is a robust parish, whose people are leaders with diverse skillsets. My goal is to help steer that vast energy as best I can and according to God's loving will.

Job Description

Presides over the Parish Council in case of the absence of the Rector or Assistant Clergy; Supervises all collections and keeps a record of attendance. With assistance, is responsible for and controls the purchase of candles, lights, and other necessities for the Church, its building and properties; Watches over the external order during church services; Assists the Rector in implementing and executing decisions of the Parish Council; Acts, at his discretion, as a liaison agent between the parishioners and the Rector by communicating the expressed or developing concerns of the Parish.
