Wednesday December 2nd, 2009 - Prayer of the Week on Luke 13:1-10-17

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord You stand before the Father and intercede for us sinners. It was this recognition that inspired Your holy apostle Andrew to set out on his epic missionary journey to bring this good news to the people of the north. It was his recognition that you are the messiah which enabled him to endure crucifixion and death on a cross. May we also recognize Your divine image so we to become Your missionaries and bring the good news to this northern land. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
