Sacristan Report January 2008

My day begins each Sunday morning at 7:15 a.m. at which time I prepare everything for the Liturgy, i.e. filling the candles with oil, clean out the censor, clean all the glass on the icons, prepare the readings for the epistle, print the bulletins and vacuum the floor when needed. My wish list for this year which I’m reiterating from the previous year would include replacing the existing candle holders with new ones, purchasing or repairing the existing preparation table in the Sacristy and buying a new vacuum cleaner.
