Sacristan Report January 2005 by John Verderber

In 2004, we were able to purchase 6 new vestments for the alter servers. Two meetings were held to discuss alter etiquette and rubrics with the alter servers and teams will be established for 2005 This past year, I would like to commend the alter team members for their commitment and maturity to their ministry. I've seen a remarkable improvement and am proud to be their team leader. The year 2004 saw the completion of a remolded sacristy. My wish list for 2005 would include a new censer stand and censer, and also a large, high preparatory table. The table we have now is much too small for our purpose.
