I am assuming the role of head of the readers due to James Lewandowski’s resignation. At present we have 16 reader volunteers. This year we are adding 2 new readers, Mark Olson and Steve Hansen and will be seeking a reader to take June Anderson’s place. I’ve prepared 16 reader assignments for the 8 tones for 2008 and each reader was given a format on their assigned tone with each Prokeimenon and Alleluia verse. Outlines were also given if 2 readers are needed for a particular Sunday. A memo was also given to each reader explaining the responsibility of their ministry. I appreciate all the dedication that our readers give to this ministry.
