I am pleased to be able to serve God and help St. Luke Parish by heading this ministry.

Job Description

With the supervision of the Priest the leader sets up the annual reader list. He assigns readers for all liturgical services. He is available to fill vacancies. He helps train new readers.

Readers are assigned to read during liturgical services by the priest. They are expected to know the order of all services and be able to locate in church books all required verses and hymns. ( Troparia and Kontakia ) They are to continually nurture their reading ability by reading the scriptures daily and learning the chanting tones.
