Deacons Report 2004- Deacon Andrew Werbiansky

Deacons help Fr. Andrew at all regular and Feast day services in a voluntary manner. Due to family commitments they are not always able to be present. When needed I have been assisting in teaching the teen class and adult catechism. Deacon Danial maintains the bookstore and is in the process of expanding it. In addition to helping out in other Orthodox churches he makes regular hospital visits to Oak Forest and other hospitals when informed that someone is hospitalized. He helps Fr Nicholas Jonas at the University of Chicago and teaches a Bible study class for university Orthodox students. He participates in practically all Pan Orthodox activities.
