Community Leader Annual Report January 2009

As in the past years I want to extend a special thank you to all who have volunteered to host coffee hours, brought food for the pot luck dinners, help set up and clean up after events and served on event committees. Without all your help and support our Community Development Team could not be such a success!!!
To all the Community Ministry Leaders: Your dedication to your specific roles and to St. Luke is greatly appreciated and has made my role as the Team Leader not only easy, but also enjoyable. Your leadership and your work have received only the highest of compliments from visitors and parish members.
A special thank you to Sharon Mochel, who did an outstanding job getting our Christmas tree decorated in the past years. As of November 2008 the Christmas Tree Decorating Ministry is headed by Nich and Nikki McDougal. In November 2008 the Community Development Team also welcomed Carla Stevens - Kitchen/Supply Ministry Leader who transferred-in from the Property Team.
2008 Community Team Budget Summary
The 2008 Community Team Budget was set at $16,000.
2009 Community Team Budget
The 2009 Community Team Budget has been set at $20,825. Some of the additional costs added this year are
· Bagels will be provided along with the sweet rolls.
