2007 went well for the choir. In the fall we began rehearsing on some Thursday nights and some Sundays after church ...so that for two weeks we rehearse in a pattern of Thurs night...Sunday....Thurs night and Sunday, in this way there are a couple of weeks when we have no rehearsals. We have sung at a few weddings and unfortunately, this last year, we even had a couple of funerals. We are continuing to learn varied music from different Orthodox jurisdictions in order to reflect the make-up of our parish. We continue to encourage congregational singing. We can always use more voices in all sections and especially in the Soprano section. So if you can carry a tune and like to sing and are willing to spend a little time learning the music, you are welcome to join.
