Assistant Lay Chairperson Report - January 2009

Submitted by Scott Claiborne

As the Assistant Lay Chairperson I've enjoyed participating in our Parish's decisions.

Strategic Planning Ministry: Ken Stevens

As stated by Mike…the Strategic Planning Ministry is now under my direction. Ken has a lot of excellent ideas for our Parish going forward. I will work with Ken and address any future needs/concerns he may have.

Monthly Charities: Robert Zubenko

I look forward to another year of working closely with Robert to help those in need every month.

P.A.D.S.: Tom Kozbiel

Tom has taken PADS and is doing an excellent job.

He and I have worked together with the Lay Chairperson…Steve, the Kitchen/Supplies Ministries…Carla, and the Community Team leader Luba to help better organize PADS supplies alongside the supplies of our parish.

Tom hosted a meeting at St. Luke’s that included many of the surrounding parishes that participate in PADS and has cultivated a good relationship with the other parishes. Tom is also seeing a number of our younger parishioners assist in setting up PADS.

He looks forward to the second have of his tenure and has expressed continuing next year.
