Harry Chelpon was our 2010 Patriot's Day featured speaker and had quite a story. The St. Luke Choir, directed by Paulette Velazquez, sang patriotic songs. Mayor Bennett and Bill Droll both spoke as they do each year. CAPS color guard presented the flag and our bagpiper, Gavin Quinn again led them down the aisle. As we have for the past four years, we read the names of Illinois fallen military. My plan for 2011 Patriot's Day is to have as many of our prior speakers back as it will be the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.
