September 11th Report Annual Meeting 2006
Prepared by Caye Caswick
Patriot's Day 2005 went well. Since the 11th fell on a Sunday,
there was a moderate turn out -- we normally have better attendance on a weekday.
Unfortunately, I'm hoping that America is not forgetting the events of 9/11 -- so we
will continue to remember that date with our tribute. The Speaker, Laura Bartl, a
survivor of the 9/11 attacks on New York's Twin Towers, was well-received and said she
felt very welcome by our very friendly crowd. She will hook me up with more survivors
and hopefully, I'll have another to speak at the 2006 Patriot's Day event.
