Safety Ministry Report Annual Meeting January 2014

In 2013, the safety team had the fire extinguishers inspected and certified. We secured a contract with Alliance Systems in the amount of $3430.00 to increase security for the classrooms, electronic equipment, and the church proper. The new system will also restrict the outside groups who use the church from entering areas of the building where expensive items are stored. The work for this project will not begin until 2014. The security team in general has not been very active due to the fact that our financial secretary has been locking the church on a regular basis. We will re-evaluate the Sunday closing procedures in 2014. We also will be re-keying many of our access doors in connection with the enhanced security system.
