We had a great great trip to a Jazz Club in the city during the summer. The turn out was nice and we enjoyed the change of pace. For the coming year, my suggestion would be to have gatherings at different restaurants near the church, quarterly, on Sunday after Liturgy, rather than "events" per se. Maybe even a more spontaneous planning might get a larger attendance. In todays busy scheduling, sometimes impromptu works best.
