Maintenance Ministry Report Annual Meeting January 2009

As usual, Nick has been a great help to the parish. He did a wonderful job painting the church proper this year. He will be painting the stairwells to the fellowship hall and some of the other areas in the upcoming year. Nick had a busy year at work so we retained a retired handyman to help complete some of the smaller outstanding projects. To date, he has completed trim work in the church area, the choir loft, and the fellowship hall. He also constructed the flower boxes around the elevator, made a box to protect the emergency button in the elevator from being activated accidentally, installed new lock boxes over the building thermostats, placed trim around the base of the bar in the fellowship hall, did repair work in the old basement, and did small projects at the direction of Father Andrew. In the coming year among other things he will be trimming and painting the brick wall in the choir practice area.
