Kitchen Ministry Annual Report January 2007
Prepared by Carla Stevens
Pat Dravillas and I have come most Wednesdays to work in the kitchen and
dining hall to clean the sink, counters, and restock the paper supplies for the next
coffee hostess. We like to come when the hired maids are there and enjoy reviewing some
things with them. I take stock and put in orders for more kitchen and bath supplies.
Detrie Zacharaias is our supplier and does a great job of getting things to us.
This year we have needed a new faucet filter in the kitchen, two new
coffee pots, and a paper dispenser towel key. Mike's property team supplied us
expeditiously. Thanks you.
We try to put out little seasonal decorations on the tables in the
dining hall. I have been playing a little catch up since my father passed away right
before the holidays.
We are trying to find a place for everything and keep the counters free
of food and crumbs, so as not to attract mice. Our coffee hostesses do a very nice job of
serving and cleaning up after each Sunday.
I enjoy working at St. Luke's to help our Fellowship events be clean
warm and gracious and well stocked for our parishioners and guests.
Respectfully submitted, Carla Stevens
