Inventory Ministry Annual Report January 2015
When a memorial donation is made to St. Luke’s, George Poulos takes a photo of the item and I create a page in the Memorial Book with a photo of the item, the individual in whose name the item was donated, the names of the individuals who donated the item, and the date. The page is added to the Memorial Book which sits on a bookstand in the Narthex. This historical record has been updated throughout the years, acknowledging our love and gratitude to those whose memory will remain with us forever. Currently I am working on getting photos of the new wall icons and their donors documented into the memorial book. A memorial gift to St. Luke’s is a meaningful and lasting way to remember a loved one. Donating a religious item in the name of a friend or family member is a way to pay tribute and show how the person continues to live on in your heart. If you wish to make a donation, contact Father Andrew who will discuss the needs of the church and offer suggestions of appropriate items.
A photo inventory of our church property and contents is also kept separately for insurance purposes.
