Internet Report Annual Meeting January 2014

Prepared by Mike Bauml

Our Web Site continues to be for many their first exposure to life as a member of St. Luke Parish. It is one of the largest Orthodox sites on the internet and continues to grow under Father Harrison’s direction. It would take pages to describe the amount of content on the site and hours for you to navigate all the pages. If you have not done so yet, I would encourage you to view our site as it is the first contact many of our new members have with our parish.

The monthly events pages are archived each month and are listed by year and month. In effect, the church website is a living history of our parish. Please feel free to email any pictures or events that you may wish to have posted to contribute to the fullness of this history.

In addition to continually adding new information, we have been working to make the site more user friendly and more interactive with social media programs such as Twitter and Facebook. We will continue to do this in the future.

Please remember that this is your web site and I ask that if you wish things posted on the site or have suggestions please send them to me at mbauml@stlukeorthodox.com.

The internet can be a force for good or evil. I believe that it is our responsibility to do what we can to make our site a force for good and to use it to spread the Word of God to all nations.
