2005 in Review

Since I have taken on the role of Historian this year, I have begun the process of compiling annual scrapbooks for the church. I have found a vendor to supply the albums so they will have a consistent look throughout the years, started to sort through files and pictures, and have begun my layouts for our 2004 album.

2006 Goals

My goal for 2006 is to complete the St. Luke's 2004 scrapbook I've begun, as well as complete a 2005 scrapbook.

Father Andrew suggested that the Historian take care of the collection and storage of various church memorabilia. He suggested the bell tower as an area for displaying these items, however based on its location, is not practical. Another option would be to have a small room built in the old fellowship hall for these items. I did not include the cost for building this room in my expenses, as this has not been discussed by the group, approved, or anything. I do feel that would be a good use of space, and would be happy to maintain that room.

2006 Expenses

Based on my costs for the 2004 album in progress (very slow progress!), I feel a good estimate for 2006 expenses is $200.00, which includes the costs for the album, photo development and accessories (paper, stickers, embellishments).
