The Third Sunday of Lent (Veneration of the Cross), the Cross was decorated with flowers, On Good Friday, the Tomb of Christ was decorated with the help of the parishioners. Easter Lilies and Hyacinths were ordered to decorate the church, and the plants were available for sale after Pascha. September 14, (Elevation of the Cross), the Cross was decorated again. Christmas Poinsettia Plants were ordered to decorate the church, and the plants were available for sale. The costs of the poinsettias, lilies and hyacinths were all donated by a parish member.
