Special Events: Nadia Doss/Luba Johnson

We provided refreshments for many events this year. The following are some of the major events hosted by St. Luke.

New Member Luncheon was held on February 18, 2007. The cost was kept under $500 for the brunch.

Presanctified Liturgy dinners were hosted by volunteers that signed up prior to the date.

Pascha feast followed the Resurrection service and was very well attended. Also a variety of foods helped break our fast.

Quad-Parish Picnic was held on June 3, 2007. Again St. Luke Parishioners supported this event. The total attendance from all parishes was approximately 180 persons. All expenses for St. Luke for the picnic were covered by the cost of the tickets. After all picnic expenses were covered each church received $165.75.

Fr. Andrew’s Send-off to Romania Luncheon held on September 20, 2007. A delicious Italian Luncheon was provided for a minimal donation. Total donation of $500 was given to Fr. Andrew to support his trip.

Octoberfest luncheon was held on October 28, 2007 after Liturgy. This was a celebration for St. Luke’s Feast Day as well as a Welcome Home for Fr. Andrew from Romania. After all costs $234.00 was deposited into General Funds.

Christmas Eve Supper was hosted by Mary Jo Werbiansky. The traditional fasting supper was experienced by over 50 people.

End of Year Celebration was held on December 28, 2007 we celebrated the end of 2007 with a great New Year’s Eve celebration. Approximately 110 people attended from St. Luke and Sts. Peter and Paul. Everyone enjoyed good food, music and entertainment. All costs were covered by the ticket donations. Approximately $200 was deposited into General Funds.
