Cell Phone Towers Annual Report January 2005

Sprint and Nextel are in the process of merging into one company. It's my understanding that they are planning to use Sprint's Cell Phone technology. I'm only going off information that I'm reading and hearing from new papers and news casts. AT&T has already merged with Verizon. We have a lease with only AT&T.

It's too soon to worry about losing a lease, but the church should plan on that possibility in the coming 12-18 months. The annual lease payment for a single tower is about $24,000.

It is also possible that other offers may be made to secure use of one of our towers especially with the popularity of wireless internet use. From time to time we still get offers to purchase our leases from independent companies but to date the amounts offered have not made it attractive to us to do anything in this area.

Additionally Greg spent a lot of time getting our electric meters changed over and negotiating a new electric rate with Com Ed for us which should result in considerable savings.
