Adoption Ministry Annual Report January 2006

Two children came into their "forever families" through this ministry this past year. Barry & Georgeann Shaw adopted their son through the OCA's Russian Program. He joined big sister Kate in September as a member of the Shaw family. The Shaw family attends Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Palatine. The first child placed through the Hogar de Raphael Orthodox Orphanage in Guatemala City, Guatemala arrived home on Dec. 30, 2005. Anna Sutko, a 3 year old child was adopted by Stephen, Sandra (and big brother John) Sutko, Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Burr Ridge.
