St. Patrick of Ireland
Feast Day - March 17th
St. Patrick is depicted in the Episcopal dress of Western Christianity holding a the Shepard's Crook and the shamrock which he used to teach the doctrine of the Holy trinity to Irish Orthodox Christians.
St. Patrick is often depicted holding a shamrock to illustrate the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Its three leaves growing out of a single stem helped him to explain the concept of one God in three Persons.
