Garden Center Visit For June
Fr. Andrew started our visit with a story about Adam and Eve. He explained how God made Adam from the dust and Eve from one of Adam's ribs. They were happy in the Garden of Eden until, with the help of the serpent, disobeyed God and ate fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Then God cursed the serpent and made Adam and Eve leave Eden.

Children's Sermon For June.
When Fr. Andrew goes on a mission trip he usually brings presents for the children. For the mission trip to Guatemala he brought back book markers. Each marker has a small child doll attached to it.
He spoke about the meaning of the word orphan and how difficult it would be for them not to have parents to take care of them. He showed them a thank you note from one of the Children at the Hogar orphanage for the help given by our mission team. He asked the children to pray for them.
Then he quoted John 14: 18 which tells us that Jesus does not leave us as orphans from God our Father. This he related to Fathers day, Pentecost and the giving of the Holy Spitit.
